AASTRA LAUNCHES NEW PRODUCTS AT BLENHEIM PALACE
Aastra celebrated the launch of its latest IntelliGate software release, i7.6 and new CTI application, Office Suite at a special dealer event at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire.
Just under 100 guests from Aastra’s resellers attended the event which kicked off with presentations by Michael Calvert, General Manager in the UK and Hugh Scholaert, Aastra’s Senior Vice President for Strategy and R&D, who congratulated Aastra partners on their continued success and spoke of an ambitious future for the Company.
Hugh Scholaert said, “. We have many exciting product innovations coming through to include new mobility solutions using open standards such as SIP. Our commitment to embraceopenness will enable our dealers to be totally flexible in meeting the needs of their customers – large and small.”
Mike Ballantine, Business Development Manager for Aastra took everyone through the new product features and benefits of the new i7.6 software release including the improved integration of mobile phones into the company’s own IntelliGate communications systems. Without any software installation on mobile phones, remote workers can now enjoy the same popular communications features of their desk phones while on the move (such as call transfer, brokering, conference and call back). On top of these productivity enhancing features, this improved mobile integration enables potential cost savings, through the internal processing of calls.
